High School Placement Test

The HSPT covers various subjects and areas to evaluate a student's knowledge and skills. These subjects include: Verbal Skills: Assesses language, grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Quantitative Skills: Tests mathematical abilities, problem-solving, and numerical reasoning. Reading: Evaluates reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. Mathematics: Covers math topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. Language: Measures knowledge of language and its usage. This test is used in conjunction with an interview, transcripts, and recommendations to determine entrance to Crespi. The test is used to assist us in offering scholarships and awards. If a student opts to not take the exam, it will not work against them. We will simply not use it in the evaluation of a student's file.
